Beaune to Isle Sur La Sorgue

We are going on our honeymoon in late April- early May. 12 days in France. We are taking the train from Paris to Beaune, and we thought we would rent a car for our 3 day stay in Beaune. Our next stop is Provence (3 days) and it sounds like it is best to have a car in Provence. Should we keep our car and drive to Isle Sur La Sorgue or take train from Beaune to Avignon and rent 2nd car in Avignon? We are working our way down to the coast where we will then turn in the car. Flying out of Nice.

I think I would keep the car, especially if you're not staying in any large cities (where a car is just a hassle) before Nice. You'll most likely want a car for Provence, it's the easiest way to get around there to the small towns and villages, so why not just keep it.

Another vote for keeping the same car. There is usually no additional cost to pick up and drop off at different car rental locations within France.

Keep the car. The run from Beaune to Isle Sur La Sorgue is less than four hours. It's expressway except for the last 15 or 20 minutes.
