Looking for a good town along the way to stop for lunch. Suggestions?

It's about a 3 hour drive on the A36. I'd probably drive to Eguisheim, then keep going to Riquewihr, where there are quite a few choices. I spent several nights in Eguisheim, good but limited restaurant options and I dined there every night so I could drink a couple glasses of wine and then walk home to my B&B.

There's Besancon, about halfway. But a small city rather than a town.
