Beaune

We are considering a visit to Beaune the first week of June. We will be coming from Lucerne and on our way to begin a multi - day bike ride in Chalon Sur Saone. Would 2 nights, and almost 2 full days in Beaune be sufficient? While we enjoy wine we are not interested in taking winery tours near Beaune as we will find enough opportunity to do that on our bike ride, should we choose.

That's plenty of time. More than enough.

...responding as a former resident of Bourgogne who has been to Beaune dozens of times, sometimes alone, sometimes with friends from the U.S., and sometimes just to hit its excellent Saturday market.
