Beaulieu-sur-Mer, Eze, and Villefranche-sur-Mer restaurant recs please

These spots will be at the start of our trip. I’m interested in any restaurant recommendations, please. For some reason every link I click on the TripAdvisor site shows an error, even after quitting the app and restarting.

We don’t need a super fancy restaurant, but prefer ones that the locals enjoy with really good food.

Thanks!

Hi, I tended to eat late lunches around 2-3 pm as restaurants in France don't serve dinner until around 7, which is too late for me. So if you're after dinner recommendations, I can't really help with that.

I ate a Salad Nicoise at a beach restaurant called Le Voile Bleue which is right across from the beach, along the promenade in Villefranche-sur-mer. It was casual and affordable. Since it was further up the promenade, it wasn't as crowded as the restaurants closer to Welcome Hotel. Most people wouldn't walk that far.

I also ate a Salad Nicoise at Le Cosmo which was good.

I also had grilled fish at one of the restaurants along the promenade, maybe it was Lou Bantry or La Trastavere, can't remember exactly, which was good. Again, these are further up the promenade.

I ate at one other place along the promenade; maybe it was Spaleto, I can't really remember. I had a Salad Nicoise that was disappointing. It was just overly doused in dressing and it turned my stomach at one point. I didn't finish it.

I stayed at Hotel de La Darse and there was a restaurant inside the hotel called La Stoa. I believe it has very good recommendations for dinner. There was also a restaurant across the street called Ancora that seemed to get a lot of customers. It had outdoor dining.

I'm not one to ask advice about food though. I'm not a foodie. I dine alone and tend to eat plain, basic food and I don't drink alcohol.

There are some great restaurants in Villefranche sur Mer.

La Grignotiere at 3 Rue Du Poilu on a pedestrian street, great food
It is a small restaurant, so a reservation would be helpful.

La Caravelle at 3 Rue De L'Eglise
We sat outside on the stepped terraced area with views to the water. Make a reservation.

Les Palmiers - informal reasonably priced fare across from the seaside and Cocteau Chapel. We loved the Peach Melba dessert.

In Eze stop by the Chateau De La Chevre d'Or - the Golden Goat restaurant (La Chevre d'Or) has an outdoor garden bar area with spectacular views. We only went there for drinks.

Thanks for the recommendations! I'm excited about our trip - and hoping we have good weather so we can enjoy outdoor seating whenever we can!
