We will be visiting Paris in September and then plan to travel to Porto, Portugal. We have a flight back home from Lisbon on October 9th so we would like Lisbon to be our last stop. Does anyone know the most efficient way to travel between Paris and Porto?
Transavia (the budget daughter of Air France-KLM), EasyJet and Vueling have flights from Orly and Charles de Gaulle.
Ryanair has flights from the regional airport of Beauvais.
Fly. Check SkyScanner for options.
Beware that Beauvais airport is especially far from Paris (direct buses go there from Porte Maillot, but it adds to your travel time).
The fastest train connection takes 19 hours with two changes, one being at 4:45 a.m., unless you stay longer on the overnight train (e.g. all the way to Lisbon) and back-track later.
