My wife and I will be in Antibes in a couple of weeks, and since Plage Keller is closed for the season due to renovations, we’re looking for one or two beach clubs in beautiful settings that offer chairs/umbrellas with drinks & food available or nearby . Could train to Cannes, too, if necessary … suggestions anyone?

We just snowbirded there and will do so again. You will find a wide variety of beach clubs in Juan Les Pins plus a few more beside that stretch over in Vallauris Golfe Juan. The former is of course, closer for walks into Old Antibes plus the nearby cap Antibes hike. The latter is far less pretentious and less crowded. Cannes also has three such clubs, if memory serves.
We would avoid those beach clubs just east of Antibes in soulless Villeneuve-Loubet, the absolute epitome of crass, tacky tourism and selling one's soul. Yuck!!
