Bayeux to Paris Weekend Trains?

I'm trying to find the direct train from Bayeux to Paris on either Saturday or Sunday in mid-October (10/11-12) but I see nothing but the connecting routes that take hours longer. I saw a comment that the direct train schedules aren't released until a couple months in advance - but we are currently a couple of months in advance. Anybody know whether the direct trains run on the weekend (preferably the evening train) so I just have to be patient? Thanks

It's possible that they just dont run the direct trains on the weekend. I looked at next weekend, and they all required 1 or 2 connections.

Well I see direct trains on the 9th and 10th, so I would wait a day or two. Don't worry, these trains don't sell out.

Sounds to me like weekend engineering on the direct line, thus the detour to Rouen.

Hello,
Research using trainline.com but then book direct from the actual company for no booking fees

There are indeed engineering works. From the SNCF:

My translation:

Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 October 2025

No trains operating between Paris and Évreux

The work to extend the EOLE line* will require the interruption of train service between Paris and Évreux on Saturday and Sunday.

One round trip between Rouen and Trouville/Deauville is scheduled on Saturday and on Sunday.

*A project extending the RER E to the west

And as a FYI the same interruption in service (i.e. no trains between Paris and Évreux) is taking place every weekend in August and September except 30-31 August. This is an engineering works-related situation and not a normal weekend service state of affairs (if you look at 30-31 August the normal nonstop trains are indeed running.)
