I'm helping a friend plan a trip to the UK and France. He's going to Bayeux. The two hotels I suggested, Rheine Mathilde and the Churchill, are sold out for the days he will be there.
I need recommendations of hotels that are centrally located. No B & B's. He will need two rooms.
We stayed at the Hotel d'Argouges when the Churchill was sold out months in advance of our stay. Loved it. RS bus tour groups stay here, so it's not exactly a secret.
We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Lion d’Or, an historic property. Centrally located. It has an excellent restaurant too.
We stayed at the Tardiff Noble House in 2022 and really enjoyed it. It is in a great location within walkig distance to the tapestry and many good restaurants. It also has parking and a nice breakfast.
