Bayeux B&B (Aggathe, & Paris Hotel de la Tour Eiffel

Is anyone familiar with either of these B&Bs in Bayeux? I saw one positive mention in the forum of the
Aggathe B&B, but no mention of the B&B, Chambres d'Hôtes Clos de Bellefontaine.

I have been using booking.com to book reservations--going to the actual hotel site if possible. Most provide an option to pay more for the ability to cancel. The Aggathe B&B does not.

I have a reservation at the Hotel de la Tour Eiffel in Paris and thanks to my reference to Rick Steves, they cut 30euros per night from the rate. Thank you, Rick. Has anyone stayed there recently, though? I am traveling in September, so do not have the luxury of pick and choosing from modest priced hotels.

Thank you for any insight. The forum and the website is immensely helpful!

My wife and I returned from Europe on the 3rd of this month and we were in Bayeux for 2 nights and stayed at the Le Lion D' Or; When we were in France the SNCF (French Rail System) was on strike, trains were running but on limited schedules, I'm sure that has been settled by now. We got to Bayeux but we could not get a taxi from the rail station. We were lucky that a friend of mine a Frenchman showed up, when we didn't arrive at the hotel around the time we said we would. Streets in Bayeux can be kind of confusing get a good map of the town if you can. In Paris we stayed at the Mecure Center Tour Eiffel, I believe the hotel you are staying at is a different hotel but in the same area. We enjoyed our stay in France.
