Does Bastille Day disrupt train schedules, museum, restaurant, batobus and shop hours in Strasbourg? I'd like to make a day trip there from Germany that week. We won't be staying overnight there so staying for fireworks/ ball would not be likely. What can I expect/ avoid? Advice, please. Thank you.

Bastille Day is 🇫🇷 France’s “Fourth of July.” It’s a national holiday celebrated with fireworks, parties, parades and picnics and a lot of that will actually begin after people get off work on July 13. Public transit will run on a reduced schedule on the 14th. Most shops and many restaurants will be closed. Museums will be closed.
