We are considering a trip to Paris that would have us there on Bastille Day. This will be our fourth visit to Paris, but we have never been there on a major holiday. Please advise us of "do's" and "don'ts, and any recommendations you may have. There will be four people in our group.

Do go to the fireworks at the Eiffel. It was quite the experience. It does start late because of the length of daylight. Do stay within reasonable walking distance because public transportation is very crowded afterwards. Watch for pickpockets, take the minimum needed. Enjoy.
