Barge cruising in Burgundy

After seeing a recent Rick Steves TV show highlighting a barge cruise through Burgundy, I searched on the website but could find no information. Could anyone direct me to where to find this information?

That episode featured a cruise he took himself, not a tour that Rick Steves Europe offers. I'm not sure he mentioned what company he used?

I also just saw this episode and immediately checked for an RS Tour- doesn't seem to be one. I'm going to watch this thread very closely !

Pat in San Diego,
RS does not do barge tours. I would guess because 1) They are very expensive unless you pilot the boat yourself, and 2) They don't accommodate enough people on a true barge. I wouldn't hold my breath for a RS barge tour. I have done some research on them because I would love to do one where someone drives the barge and prepares my meals, etc., but they are very costly. You might try googling some of the companies that do escorted barge tours. If you find one that seems to be a reasonable price, please note it on the forum. Maybe you will have better luck than me. I would jump at the chance!

Judy, yes, as I research, "reasonable" seems to be the significant variable. I was excited watching that RS episode, but Rick did not mention that very important detail of cost. Maybe someone here will find options with a larger groups and lower costs.
