We would like to extend our stay in France after the Eastern France tour with a barge cruise. Any advice on barge cruising or companies? Thanks

We have friends who took a barge cruise with Girolibero. They slept and ate on the barge, but ride bicycles most days. They really enjoyed the experience. I’ve also heard great things about The Barge Lady who does trips in several areas of France.

I cruised on The Luciole in 2016. It was delightful. Food was fantastic. Lots of side trips in their mini bus. You could relax on the deck, cruise along and enjoy the scenery or bike along the bike paths. Or mix it up. I believe The Barge Lady can booked their trips. I think I booked it directly back in 2016.
