I will be visiting a friend in Barcelona for a few days in September, then I want to take a side trip to Nice. Does anyone know of a cruise or bus tour that would let me dabble in one or two other Mediterranean / south of France ports and also include Nice? (About 7 days max is all the time I have.)

You could take the train and make stops until you get to Nice.

Yes thank you I will probably end up just doing my own "tour" by car or train. I was just hoping to get out of any kind of planning of hotels & transportation.
The cruise you mentioned looks lovely but is way out of my price range. There is a Mediterranean tour from Norwegian Cruise Lines that I liked the look of, but they don't stop in Nice.
