We will be traveling from Paris to Rouen and want to go by train, stopping at Giverny on the way. I know we must take a bus to the gardens, but is there a place to store our luggage at or near the station while in Giverny for the morning? We would take the train from there to Rouen in the afternoon. We will be renting a car, but I prefer to pick it up in Rouen, rather than the Paris area. However, if we need it to keep our luggage while at Giverny, we will get the car the night before leaving Paris. There are five of us, and we may be renting two cars. With luggage for five, even a Renault 5+2 would be tight. Caravanning in two cars will not be a problem for us.

Not at the Vernon train station, but across the street from the station and the bus stop, the L'Arivee de Giverny café will store bags for 5 euros each. The bus to Giverny will sell tickets and then leave rather promptly after the train arrives.
