bag storage at Cafe L'Arrivée de Giverny?

Hello,

I read in a thread from last year that the Cafe L'Arrivée de Giverny will store bags for 5 Euro each. Does anyone know if this is still correct? I would call them and ask but I'm afraid my French skills are woefully short for such a question. We will be traveling from Versailles to Normandy (via car) and would like to stop at Giverny to see Monet's house and gardens. There are five (with at least one small suitcase and backpack each), so I am nervous about leaving them in the car while we stop. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much!
Marian

If you get a car with a hatchback, you can generally fit your bags in the trunk area and have them covered. Also that particular parking lot seemed pretty secure to me. No, you don't have security walking around and you don't have to pay to park, however, it's in a location that seemed, to me, to not have a problem with theft. As a precaution, you could also cover any bags that may be exposed on the back seat.
