We are a group of 5 friends/sisters who would love to find a B & B or hotel in/near Rouen for one night followed by a B & B the next night along the Cheese Route or Cider Route. A room with two twins plus a suite with a total of 3 beds would work perfectly. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Can't help you with a specific B&B, but for surging one in France you can use the website of Gîtes-de-France. Around Rouen you can look in Lyons-la-Forêt or Jumieges, both very charming villages, the latter famous for it's abbey.
Lisieux isn't attractive, nevertheless interesting for the basilica there. Better is to look for a place somewhere in the countryside where you can find those charming half-timbered houses in a nice setting. Pont-l'Évêque is way more charming than Lisieux

Thanks for your reply! Yes, we will have a car. I also much prefer charming villages as you mentioned, rather than cities. The difficulty is finding the arrangements that work for 5 of us, without booking 5 separate rooms. So many of the charming B & B’s only have 3 BR’s. I love Gites-de-France and have used them often in the past. Karen Brown has also been a good source, but her 2006 book is a bit outdated. 😅. Thanks again.
