My daughter and I will be in Avignon on December 24 -25, 2019 and would like to know if the Christmas market will still be open? I cannot find any dates for the market on the official Avignon visitor site. and what other things will be open on these dates? also is there anywhere to get Christmas dinner we are vegan and vegetarian and have never traveled during the Christmas season before.

Few places are open for Christmas Dinner, and few restaurant offer vegan options.
Combine the two constraints, and you're in for a hard time... I'd strongly suggest that you get self catering accomodation.

Thank you for your suggestion, looks like that is exactly what we might have to do for the food aspect but what about things to see and tours? Would anything be open on Christmas Eve? I can understand most closures on Christmas Day as it is that way in the States.
