My Parents and I made it to Avignon after a beautiful drive from Uzes using a local taxi. We checked in to our AirBnb overlooking Place du Chataignes very close to the Papal Palace. Tomorrow off to see the Papal Palace,Avignon Bridge and Pontifical Gardens Very beautiful.

There is a great view of Avignon Bridge from the top of Jardin des Doms (I guess this is what you refer to as the Pontifical Gardens). Go there, and decide if you'll still want to pay the Bridge admission fee - I find it is a bit steep for what is just a short visit.
