Avenue Victor Hugo

In looking for apartments in Paris for a month long trip next (2018) August, I found a very interesting one on Avenue Victor Hugo.

Does anyone have any opinion as to safety, late night noise and ease of travel via public transport.

Thanks for your help.

It's a very high class area. Check to see how close the butcher, baked, wine shop and grocery are. I remember mostly expensive apartments.

Where on Avenue Victor Hugo? It's a long street. If you are at the end near Etoile, you have access to 3 metro lines, RER A and a lot of buses. If you are at the other, you have access to RER C, one or two bus lines, and maybe one metro stop and it is on Line 9, which I do not find very convenient.

It's an upscale, safe area. A bit of a trip from there to central Paris though.

Avenue Victor Hugo is quite close to central Paris -- the end of it abuts the Etoile and the Arc de Triomphe! Upscale, comfortable, good transport links.

(and the far opposite side of town from where I live!)

I'm sure you'd feel safe and comfortable there.

There's a couple of large hospitals, a few medium-sized hotels, lots of trees, and not many restaurants or cafe's until you get to the bridge that leads to RER/Metro.
Depending on your exact address, you might be bored silly and it will take a long time to get into central Paris.
There is a mixture of Haussmannien and much more recent modern buildings and just not much else.
