Autoroutes or fuel supplies affected by unrest or strikes?

I'm considering reformulating a driving holiday next week planned for Calais - Reims - Strasbourg on the way to Germany because of memories of some issues I had with Gilets Jeanes demonstrations in Grand Est before covid.

I'm considering taking the ferry from Harwich England to Hook of Holland Netherlands to steer well clear.

I also dealt with the refinery strikes last year and that wasn't a lot of fun.

comments? facts? opinions?

thanks

I've had no problems. Last weekend in Northern France most service stations had one type of fuel they had run out of, but it was by no means consistent. None of the Total garages had SP98, but everyone else seemed to have plenty. Some of the supermarkets had run out of diesel but had plenty of petrol.

Apart from that I had no issues.

thanks for that, Simon

I found out today that Flunch will be open on Easter Sunday too. Getting better and better...

I was on the road this week, I did see a handful of closed gas stations but not too many, and no big lines at the open ones.
