Authentic French lunch restaurants near Palais Garnier

One of my favorite lunch spots near Palais Garnier is Le Petit Vendôme at 6 Rue de la Vrillière. However, not a varied menu, but one of the best jambon/beurre in Paris. I often go to Le Mesturet for lunch, the plat du jour is about 14€ with a glass of wine and coffee if you eat downstairs or at the bar.

Perhaps the restaurant best meeting your overall stated objectives would be Le Vaudeville with a changing daily special. The interior was freshen up a year or two ago and they kept the beautiful Art Déco interior. A kitchen fire had it closed earlier this year but I think it reopened this summer. You'll need to reserve for lunch a day or two in advance.

We really enjoyed a newer restaurant: Les Komplices (https://www.les-komplices.com/), which is about a 10 min walk from Palais Garnier. The menu is small and seasonal but usually includes typical French fare. All in an intimate setting. We really loved it! They offer lunch and dinner menus.

Someone told me about a soufflé restaurant aptly called Le Soufflé that also looks good so sharing this with this group.

We've been to Le Souffle twice. The first time we had the three course all souffle menu and that was simply over the top.

The second time we just ordered from the normal menu and had a dessert souffle and that was a far better experience.

Their Grand Marnier souffle was magnificent. Anywhere that leaves the bottle on the table is a winner with us.
