ATM at CDG in terminal 2B

where is there an ATM in CDG in terminal 2B?
I see that HSBC has ATMs in most of the other "2" terminals, but not in 2B?
Can I access an ATM in terminal 2D?

Would I access the ATM before baggage claim or after baggage claim? (we will not check luggage).
As per the advice in Rick Steves guidebooks, I wish to use an ATM (distributeur) connected to a bank?
are ATMs accessible 24/7 or only Mon-Fri during "business hours"?
thank you for the advice.

Many people wait to get euros upon arrival. And it may, (or may not depending on fees), be the cheapest way to get cash. We prefer, however, to have currency in hand when we arrive. That eliminates the problems of finding an ATM, waiting in line to use it, hoping it works (the do malfunction from time to time), and doing it while jet lagged, handling luggage, and being on strange turf. You should be able to get a couple of hundred from your local bank or AAA office. That will eliminate the hassles mentioned above and tide you over until you are acclimated. Yes, it will cost a few dollars more to get currency before you leave. But compared to the overall cost of the trip, it's minor. Just something to consider.

I did it one time, and it had some rip off rates. I think you can buy a ticket on RER B to get into the city using a credit card.

There may still be an HSBC ATM in terminal 2, next to Baggages du Monde, but HSBC is closing its retail banking operations in France. Otherwise, there are no other Bank ATMs currently at CDG, where Travelex currently operates all ATMs. The Travelex ATMs charge a fee, I believe it is 3%.

Official taxis are required to take credit cards, and the train kiosks all accept credit cards.

Have been to Paris 3x in the past year. Use a cc to get the train into the city and buy euros there but if not comfortable doing that buy some from your bank at home.

ATM’s work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, unless they’re being serviced (restocking receipt paper, adding currency, etc.).
