Astotel properties in Paris? Hotel Louis 2? Hotel Dauphine St. Germain?

I am seriously looking at 4 different Astotel properties in Paris- all located in the 9th eme (good advice was given about Montmartre. Thank you). Pros for this local chain: the pictures all appear to be light and airy rooms, Trip Advisor reviews repeatedly say the beds are comfy. They include breakfast if you book direct and the rates for a single run 90-100E (including breakfast). I can't really see a downside, which usually means there is one and I'm missing it. They are not all that central, but I realistically don't know how much extensive walking I'll be doing in late February when the high temp is 40 degrees F. May when it's 68 and sunny? I'd probably pick a different spot with a different attitude, but late Feb when it's cold and possibly drizzly or snowy- I think I'd like somewhere that if I head in early has heat and isn't dank and dark with one 40 watt bulb by the bed LOL.

On the other hand, the Louis 2 and the Dauphine St. Germain over in the 6th eme appeal to my sense of history and individuality. And I like the décor. They feel more French. But the prices are a bit higher with no breakfast.

Those who know- pros and cons of each?
Thanks!

I stayed at the Astotel Acadia Opera two times back when it was a Best Western. It was lovely and in a great area.

I would choose the 6th, because I would walk , even in winter, and I have stayed in a hotel and in an apartment both one Rue Dauphine and I love the area.

Breakfast is usually just a coffee and some pastry or bread, I would not plan my stay around that!

It's not likely to be snowy.

I think I would choose the 6th as well -- it's just a bit more atmospheric, more the "idea" of what one has of Paris, and closer to more of the major sites. Like Pat says, I wouldn't factor the breakfast too much into my consideration. You don't get that much, and it's not going to cost you that much to get it in a café or just pick up something at a bakery instead. Good for you for understanding that you need something a little more comfortable for those cold February evenings. You need to look forward to where you're going back for the night!
