Astotel hotels in Paris, have you stayed in a property?

Dear travellers,

I am considering a Astotel hotel this April and am looking for feedback from those who have stayed there. I did search the info here and did get some feedback from 2017 and 2018; Has anyone stayed in one recently? I am considering the 34B hotel but am open to their other locations. My requirement is a minibar/mini-fridge, which they are advertised to have.

Thanks in advance. June

Hello June. I found the Astotels in 2018 on this forum and booked the Monterosa, 4 nights. We had three rooms and were quite satisfied. Although there were some technical problems, they were handled efficiently and we got a small discount.

Two weeks ago, my cousin and I stayed for 3 nights in Hotel Joyce, just opposite the Monterosa. This time, no problems, technical or otherwise. We had two single rooms, small (this is Paris, after all!) but convenient layout.
Very friendly personnel, good breakfast buffet and the open bar (free non-alcoholic drinks and some small snacks - think peanuts, crackers, madeleine biscuits) after 14h00 is a nice service. There is a small mini-fridge in the room, with free non-alcoholic drinks.

Between the two hotels, I prefer the Joyce, mainly because of esthetics. On my next visit to Paris (I live in Brussels, Paris is close), I either return to the Joyce or use another of their hotels, in the same neighborhood.
Have a good stay in Paris!

I have stayed at a couple Astotel properties but not the 34B. I do have a friend who stays there often because she enjoys the neighborhood and finds the hotel to be a great value proposition. If the 34B is like other Astotel properties, I think you will find it as described in their website. BTW, my children loved Hotel Joke. They thought the place had the best decor they had ever seen.

Thanks JHK. Many years ago I worked at Stanford University Hospital and lived in Mountainview. I had many a breakfast after Night Shift at Hobees! :)

I have stayed at the 34b probably around 6 times, I like the hotel and area. I have booked there again this year, haven't been to Paris since 2019 as we haven't been allowed out of Australia! I have also stayed in the Hotel Monterosa, and Hotel George. They do have a minibar which is refilled each day, and the rooms are reasonable big for Paris. I have stayed there solo, and with my husband.

We have stayed at Hotel Bradford Elysees (Astotel) twice. With the most stay being Dec 2021 for 9 nights. We love the property and location. We are currently booked their again in May 2022.
