Does anyone have any experience with this hotel chain in Paris? Most of their hotels have good reviews on Trip Advisor. We are a family of 4 and if we need to get two rooms so be it. Just want to have a nice, clean room for a decent price. We are going around May 9, 2019 for 9-10 days with a 2 day trip to D-Day beaches. Thank you 😀
We stayed at their Malte hotel in February and were quite pleased. The room was a decent size for Paris, definitely clean and with a comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and it was nice to have complementary coffee and water in the room, as well as in the buffet area in the afternoon, where there were also light snacks. I'm not sure what size rooms are available there or in their other hotels. The location of this one (in the 2d) was not my favorite but it was very close to the hotel that our traveling companions chose--which was a lot more expensive than we wanted. I generally prefer the 4th or 6th. But they do have hotels in other areas, including the Marais. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at one of their hotels in the future.
I am a big fan of the Astotel chain and know many of them. None of their properties are in Saint Germain, the Latin Quarter, or Le Marais and that is probably the reason that they are usually well priced for what you get. I think they are good value properties for Paris if you are willing to stay outside of the frequently recommended areas mentioned above. I am pretty sure that none of their properties have quads so you will likely need two rooms.
Clean, nice and you will need two rooms.
I checked out the Malte hotel and they actually have several duplex rooms. They are 2 levels and there's a bed and bath with a spiral staircase. This is perfect! And it's around $300 a night which is excellent. I have been in touch with the hotel and the booking window won't open up until Nov or Dec (for may 2019).
We booked their Hotel Joyce for our trip in September. When my mom and I were narrowing down our choices, Astohotel hit so many of the items on our wish list! I never thought our lodging in Paris would be so affordable with so many amenities. And the high ratings on TripAdvisor for all their properties was comforting!
