We will be in France in September & I am curious to know if anyone is aware of a gallery / museum which features German Expressionist artists and / or Max Beckmann. We will be mobile & will be able to be almost anywhere / anytime.

The incredible National Museum of Modern Art in the Pompidou Center houses the national collection that starts in 1906, where the Orsay museum leaves off. That's where you'll find German Expressionism. I don't remember the exact make up of the rooms, but then whatever is on display can change and rotate
BTW, the Saint Louis Art Museum has an amazing collection of Beckmann, if you ever go south to the States.
