i have posted this earlier but did not get many responses.
i will be in paris next week and since this is the city with lot of art, i would like to take a painting lesson while i am there.
please can you give me some ideas about this.
are there any places where i can see artists working?
any other ideas regarding this will be super helpful.

Try googling "painting classes in Paris". I did, and got a list.

When I was at the louvre, there were several people painting. Our guide told us that as long as you don't make the copy the same size as the original you can copy a painting. You might see some there. Also even though it is a very touristy area, there are painters in the Montmartre area near Sacre Cour.
