Looking for another recommendation. We will be leaving Avignon and traveling back to Paris prior to flying back to the US. If we arrive in Paris at 1pm is there time to see one thing prior to taking a train or taxi to the airport in the early evening? We will be spending the night at the airport but don't need to sit in a hotel room. This forum has been so helpful in planning our trip to Provence. Any and all suggestions are welcome.

Yes! Just be sure to arrange for luggage storage, then you will have several hours to spend in Paris before heading to your hotel at the airport.

Well scratch the above. That is not near the Lyon train station. There does seem to be luggage storage nearby.
