We are ending our Uniworld river cruise in Arles and looking for recommendations for transportation from the cruise port to the Marseilles airport. Taking a flight to Palermo to start our RS Sicily tour.
The cheapest option is to take the train from Arles to Vitrolles - Aéroport station, where a connecting bus takes you to the terminal (or there'll be Uber in a pinch).
I believe that the river cruises dock right next to the train station in Arles, making it convenient.
I agree with balso - the train from Arles takes about 40 mins and costs €14.40. The trains leave roughly hourly so once you disembark from your river cruise, you can just walk to the train station and buy your ticket to Vitrolles Aeroport Marseille-Provence. From there, catch the bus to the airport. Buses run every 20 minutes, take 5 minutes to get to the airport, and cost €1.20 (pay the driver).
Between the river cruise and the RS tour, it sounds like you have a fantastic trip planned!!
Thanks for the replies. These sound like good options for us.
