Arles to Marseille Airport

I'm trying to clearly understand the process going from Arles to the Marseille airport (MRS)

It looks like a train goes from Arles to Marseille - St Charles and others to Vitrolles Aeroport Marseille. I assume that there is a bus tied to the train schedules from either station to get you to the airport but I've been unable to clearly see the process. If someone can shed some light on this, I'd appreciate your help. What is the best and fastest way via public transportation to get to MRS from Arles?

The best way is the local "TER" train to Vitrolles Aéroport, where a connecting bus takes you to the airport (and you can walk in a pinch, it's about a mile and I had to do so once during a major strike).
Taking the train all the way to Marseille Saint Charles, then the bus from there, involves a lot of unnecessary backtracking.
The Marseille airport website has a great page on transportation.
