Couple traveling to Barcelona from Arles in Late July. Should we buy now or buy at the train station? My fear is getting to the station and there being no tickets left! Any experience with this?

If your date is fixed why wouldn't you buy now?

This line is served by TGV, is relatively expensive for a long trip, and doesn't have many departures per day. It will be cheaper to book now. (Or if it's not cheaper, then that means the train is close to selling out.) You can also compare prices through Rail Europe. Both agents are reliable and likely to charge the same on this route.

Except that Captain Train does not tack on a service charge like Rail Europe does.
