Is Arles or St Remy a better home base for 5 days in Provence?

I've stayed in both with a car. I would chose St. Remy. The Saturday market in Arles is excellent if the timing works out for you to go to it.

We did 5 St-Remy, then 2 Arles- dropped car off in Arles. Loved them both.
St-Remy is an excellent base, as long as you have a car.
