Hello! My family and i are planning on driving from Aix to Nieme on July 5, I just tried to reserve tickets for the Arenes and Tour Magne and Maison Carree and the website has the day blocked out. They are apparently closing at 3:30 for a concert (not sure if that is why it is blocked out) Does anyone know if you need tickets ahead? I am a world history teacher and this in on the top of my list! I did not think tickets would be a problem.....please help!!!

We just showed up and got tickets at the ticket window...for both the arena and Maison Carree...there may have been a combo ticket but we went in 2015 and neither I nor my husband can remember. We only walked up to Tour Magne...didn't go in...we may have been too late.
We did this in October. You may have a bit of a line in July. We didn't encounter one when we went.
You prob want to make sure you arrive early in case they close earlier than 3:30.

Thank you! I was able to order tickets through get your guide for skip the line access, it was more expensive, but I did not want to take any risks!

I was there in April and even in crowded Easter Week in Provence season all were lightly visited. Maison Caree can be enjoyed from the outside, the ticket is for a movie I think.

we just walked up a couple of years ago in early summer early afternoon and there wasn't anybody ahead of me, there were virtually nobody else inside.

Yes - the ticket for Maison Carree was for a movie - it was a great opportunity to have a quick siesta...lol. Def could have given that a pass. But you got your tix now, so...
