I am wondering if there are people who have recent experience with Uber in Marseille. I'll be there in May and would appreciate a current opinion on the situation.
Also, I am looking for information about antiques and antique markets in Marseille.

I will arrive there on Thursday and will check it out. I'm a huge market fan and I believe there is a marché-aux-puces-et-antiquités but it is on a Sunday and I am using Marseille as a arrival and departure point. Will go to the tourist bureau and see what they can tell me. Will let you know both about Uber and market.

Not sure about Marseille but if you rent a car and drive around villages outside Marseille you can find tons of great antiques. Il sur la Sorgue is famous for antiques but perhaps not high end.

I recommend downloading Bolt to try before using Uber. Drivers are better paid by Bolt, so you may get more reliable pick up. I live in a city two hours from Marseille and have had issues with Uber, so Bolt is my first choice. YMMV. However, I've found that our local taxis are less expensive than the Bolt quoted price for some itineraries that I take regularly and am able to compare.
