We will be departing Paris through CDG on 6-21-19, after spending the night at the Sheraton at Terminal 2. We heard that due to construction, the interterminal trains are not running and we will have to take a bus. Is this correct? Taking a bus will considerably lengthen the time needed to get from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1 so we may need to allow more time. Thank you.

Btw, we stayed there last September; and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else, if I ever need an airport hotel at CDG again. So convenient, and such great service!

Thanks, that's a great idea. We stayed at the CDG Sheraton for an early morning flight last year and it was wonderful, and you can't beat the convenience.

Where did you hear this information? Everything I can consult shows CDGVAL operating normally, but maybe there are plans for late June.
I agree that you should ask your hotel for confirmation. They will certainly be aware.

What you are asking about is called the CDGVAL and as of yesterday, it was operating normally.
If you have an international flight from terminal 1, I recommend that you are at the check in desk no later than 3 hours before your scheduled departure. Expect the wait at outbound passport control alone to be about 1 hour, possibly more (unless you are traveling First Class).
