I am trying to book this museum during my 2 week stay in April...Having no luck. Does anyone know if they are that popular or if they are closed for renovation??
I would be surprised if advance ticketing is necessary. No indication here that it is closed:

I'm finding some recent reviews and lots of info on various websites - no indications of closures.
Edit and cross post with below!! - did you find this page? Click an offer link and it will bring you to a calendar and ticket purchase page. I clicked through until it wanted payment. (I found this via the French language pages - didn't see an obvious link in the English info.)

I tried on the website, booking works fine for the permanent and temporary exhibtions (at least up to the payment page) I get sometime an empty pop up windows on the middle of the screen, just clicking outside the window make it disappear.

I’ve been there a number of times and I would not book ahead for this museum. It’s fine for a last minute fill in if you have time.
I only went the last time (maybe in 2023?) because forum friend Sharyn told me the statues from the spire of Notre Dame were on display there. They, of course, have been re-installed on the spire!
A lot of the displays seemed to be plaster casts of building features.
Edited because of autocorrect as well as interruption from a 6-yr-old, so part made no sense. (Insert eye roll emoji).
I’ve gone to this museum several times and plan to go on my next visit too because of an exhibit that’s going on there. I agree with Pam. I see no need to book in advance. I just plan to walk up for my tickets. I have never seen a line there.
Even when they had all of the statues from the spire of Notre Dame it was so poorly advertised that you could just walk up. The only reason I knew about it was as I was reading the placards on the side of the restoration at Notre Dame it said in small print “you can go see these at this museum.” I went. It was wonderful. You’ll never be that close to them again that
Thank so muc;h for info...now I am wondering if it is really that interesting????
