Has anyone been to the arboretum at Versailles, Arboretum de Versailles-Chèvreloup? I can't imagine many tourists make it there, given how much there is to see with the palace, the fountains, Trianon, etc.
Yes and it's not that great. Not that close to the main grounds of Versailles, quite expensive, and surprisingly unkempt.
The Arboretum in Chatenay Malabry, next to writer Chateaubriand House, is far better - my favorite park in the entire Ile de France so far, together with Parc de Sceaux nearby- but should be low on most people's priorities as there are plenty of arboretums in cities across the US and the world.
