We are searching for a 2 bedroom lodging facility in the Sarlat area in the $100 or less range for 5 nights. We will have a car, but want to be within 15-20 minutes of the town. We are both 70 so prefer not too many stairs or steep climbs! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Your needs may be a little too specific for other readers here to provide personal experience. Rick's book lists one two-bedroom place (no mention of kitchenette) around €100 and suggests www.chambres-perigord.com as a resource for finding chambres d'hotes in the area. For a really self-catering option, try www.gites-de-france.com.
