The question posted by John made me think. I believed April 1-30 would be early enough to avoid Olympics problems with travel in France. Sounds like I could be wrong. Our itinerary includes Normandy, Marseilles, Nice, Bordeaux and some shorter stays in Paris between the longer 4-6 day stays. I am seeing very high rates for AirBnBs and hotels. I thought that might be just the post-Covid increase in travel - accommodations charging what the market will bear. Before further planning, I'd love to hear the thoughts of others about potential impact on a trip as early as April 2024. Thank you. Susan
I can imagine a surge in visitors to Paris before the Olympics - those folks who want to go but want avoid the area during the Olympics. Just like you. And rates increasing accordingly.
There's been significant discussion here already. The question is how early the advance support folks arrive ahead of the actual Games. Good luck!
