Apps in Paris ?

Looking for advice/tips/pros & cons for using apps in Paris...

Zenchef - for restaurant reservations?
Any of the following for transportation?
Ile de France mobilités
Vianavigo

I did already download the Paris Metro app with the blue M in a blue circle - it has maps of the metro and RER

I've not used any of the apps you have listed but I do have CityMapper which I use for the Metro and like a lot. Some of the folks who live in Paris and are on the forum use this. I find it more user friendly than the RATP app but YMMV.

I also have the G7 taxi app downloaded. I put my hotel address in as "home" so I don't have to type it out every time, lol.

Thank you Pam. I'll download Citymapper. And you reminded me that I had downloaded G7 after reading a recommendation on this forum. I need to locate the G7 app icon on my phone and move it to my "travel" category grouping along with my airline and Rick Steves apps.

This is what I recommend (and use myself):

For restaurant reservations - call the restaurant or use their own website to reserve (many restaurants now use zenchef).

For walking - Google Maps. Alternatively, I use Open Street Map.

For public transportation - Citymapper or Île-de-France Mobilité app.

If you have an Android phone, your phone becomes a Navigo Easy card replacement using the Île-de-France Mobilité app and a linked credit card.

For taxi service - I use Bolt.

Have you been looking at my phone, lolol??? I move the Citymapper to my front page while I'm in Europe and then move it back to to my "Europe" folder after I return home.

RATP also has an app called Bonjour RATP, which I prefer slightly to IDF Mobilités for design reasons, though the two are not perfectly overlapping in terms of functionality.
