How do I go about finding an apartment to rent in the Albi area for about 4-6 weeks late summer or early fall of this year. We are in our 60s/70s and need a 2 bedroom. This is last minute planning. In 2006 we spent 6 weeks roaming around Italy, France and Germany using Rick Steves’ planning help as we were living in the northwest at that time. Any ideas and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Another vote for AirBnB. For long term rentals you can usually negotiate a lower price.

The Tour de France finished in Albi yesterday. It looked beautiful. Any chance that is what prompted you to choose Albi?

Yes, but we had been contemplating for awhile to go back to France just undecided on area. Still may choose another area or just roam for a while

If you like food and wine, Burgundy is worth considering. If you enjoy bicycling it's perfect.
