Hello all- other than VRBO and AirBNB- are there any other good sites to look for vacation rentals in Paris? Since there are four of us- including a small kiddo- we were looking more at apartment rentals vs a hotel so we could have at least a small kitchenette.

I have used a vacation in Paris. (Vacationinparis.com and Guest Apartment services. Vacation in Paris is more basic and doesn’t provide a ton of service but the apartments were all fine.
Guest Apartment services is very upscale. Apartments are wonderful and it’s kind of a concierge service.
You could also search for aparthotels. The one we stayed in (in Lyon) had a kitchenette and two bedrooms.

I’ve used this rental agency a few times and have found very good apartments. Their agents respond timely and can recommend properties based on your needs.
Booking.com also lists apartments.
It's been my experience that some owners/ managers list on several platforms. That makes it worth checking to see if there are differences among them and for verifying that the rental is legitimate. It's also interesting to see if the pictures vary.
Having been burned by my first and last Airbnb apartment in Athens in 2014, I will never go through them again. Likewise a VRBO we rented in Bruges in 2012 never revealed anywhere that we were expected to clean the place before we left. We found that out when we arrived. Therefore we will never go through them again, no matter how much they advertize on TV. In both cases the apartments were not as they were pictured or described, had maintenance issues and were dirtier than we expected when we arrived. In neither case were the hosts available for assistance, nor did they have anyone to call for help, but in both cases the hosts had multiple signs and/or pages in notebooks telling us what not to do. So I might check VRBO or Airbnb for additional pictures, but I'd never rent through them.
I have absolutely no experience with any of the Paris rental agencies others have recommended. I do have experience with Booking.com for Rome and Venice, but not for Paris. I find the options for filtering results on their website to be very useful. And the reviews are only from people who have actually stayed in the apartments. Positive or negative, that makes a big difference to me.
Thanks all- I think am aware of the short term rental restrictions - they have a 15 digit (I think) number that means they are licensed, I have seen them on most of the ads I have seen.
I have used vrbo and airbnb extensively in the US without issues - although most of the time it was still through an agency of some sort (beach rentals).
Do aparthotels have laundry accessibility? Since we will be gone for 2 weeks and trying to pack light, that is a must.

I have used both thees companies, Cobblestone Paris, https://cobblestoneparis.com, and Apartments du Louvre, https://www.apartmentsdulouvre.com. Both buildings that Apartments du Louvre manage have small elevators and their apartments have A/C if needed or desired.

look like between their two places- there is one room that works for us! (rest are studio or sold out) - but it does look like a great option - a little pricer than some of the others I have found - but likely worth it.
Just a note. A 15 digit number on a listing means that they put down 15 digits. It does not mean that it is a legally register apartment. Because there’s no way for you to check to see if it’s a real registration or if someone just made up 15 digits. (Which is pretty easy to do)
Then how do we know if an apt is legal or not? 😬

You have no way of knowing if an apartment is legal.... it's a risk you take.
As for Paris Attitude... well it's an attitude all right IMHO not one I want to deal with in the future so we don't rent from them any longer.
I've used Guest Apartment Services and they are great. You might want to have a look at this place -- I have not stayed here but know exactly where it is. Very conveniently centrally located with lots of shops/restaurants around.
