Hi! My husband and I will be in Avignon for a few days in October, I’m wondering anyone can recommend an apartment for rent?
We plan to take day trips by train.

Check the website gites-de-france. Reliable and trustworthy options with a variety of locations. Been around longer than AirBnB. We have used it for years to obtain one night chambres d'hote stays to multi week house rentals, and everything in between.

I was in Provence for a month and spent 2 weeks in Avignon. S, F, 70+, solo traveler, public transpo only.
I always rent apts and always from booking.com. In Avignon rented Charmant T2, Center Historique, Place des Carmes. Two flights up, on 2 mini bus lines (maybe 10-12 feet from apt door, close to everything, easy walk to all sights.

We stayed at an apt in Avignon in May that we booked through booking.com. It was located at 71 Rue Joseph Vernet 84000 Avignon, France. It comes with a small (and I mean small) parking space, an elevator and air conditioning. It was located about 2 blocks from Monoprix and easy access to the sites in Avignon by walking. Enjoy your trip.
