Apartment hotels in in Paris

We will be in Paris the first week in May and are interested in staying in an apartment hotel or some other accommodation that would allow us a kitchen. I would like to spend under $200 a night if it all possible. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

In no particular order.....

Fraser Suites, Adagio, Citadines and Staycity all have aparthotels in all areas of Paris. Between them, there are over 30 properties.

These are the big chains. There are also individual properties. Look for aparthotels or possibly "serviced apartments."

Thank you..will check them out.. a chain is not my preference, but it’s always worth checking it out. Thank you very much.

For the price you want to pay you’re probably going to have to go with the chain. And even then several of those I know are already over your budget. Paris is an expensive city, and the apartment hotels that are not part of these chains tend to be very upscale. I’m going to give you a link to one below. You can look at but there’s nothing in there that’s any close to your budget. The Citadines is probably your best bet and even then you’re going to be pushing it for your price point

I always use book.com and always stay in apts. Some may be hotel like but love individual apts as they are usually in a neighborhood and I love the "real" city relationship. Although not during the Olympics, apparently prices are already much higher than normal.

I think Janet meant to type "booking.com", which many of use for research and some also for reservations. As with other websites, be careful about bed size and type (you won't want to sleep on a sofa bed for a week, I assume), and consider whether you must be in an elevator building.

So the challenge with apartments this year is going to be the Olympics. Legally, there’s a limit on how much anyone can lease an apartment and the best time to lease it is going to be during the Olympics.

the other thing to remember is that Paris has cracked down on short term rentals, and will probably be monitoring this carefully during the period leading up to the Olympics. Yes, people are going to tell you to look for the 13 digit code and that tells you, your apartment is legal. No, that tells you, your apartment owner knew to make up a 13 digit code. I could make up a 13 digit code and list an apartment. Unfortunately there’s no way for you or I to check the validity of a listing.

I rent from apartment rental companies but they’re not apartment hotels. The two i recommend are vacation in Paris, (which could possibly have something in your price range) and guest apartment services ( I think they have some studios in the price range. But they sell out very quickly so they may already be booked for May)

Finding and apartment in that range is going to be difficult. There are many, but you will most likely have to stay much further out from city Center.

Check out guestapartment.com. Depending on the size of the apartment and the season, the prices can be quite reasonable. We enjoyed our stay in Tulip in September on Ile Saint-Louis. The service from this company is also top-notch. Thanks to those from the forum who clued us into this great find!
