Anything to See/Do around Paris airport?

We are staying one night at CDG hotel before flying home after 3 weeks in France. Will there be anything worth seeing nearby?

Not really. You could take the shuttle to the Aeroville Mall or bus to Roissy, a small town just to the north if you wanted.

The problem with staying at/near the airport, in my view, is that there is nowhere to eat. The Hotel restaurants or restaurants at the airport are very unsatisfactory.

To counter the above opinion, I really prefer to spend my last night at an airport hotel, unless I have an after 12 noon departure. It’s a great stress reducer. I found many negatives about the Hilton, but the food in the bar was quite decent. Or, you could time your arrival for after dinner.

We've never stayed at an airport hotel; I prefer to avoid it at all costs. But I do know that many people on this forum have recommended taking public transportation into Paris for dinner, etc., then taking it back to the airport hotel. When we've flown out of CDG and didn't spend the last night in Paris, We've stayed in either Senlis or Plailly, both short drives to CDG.

I find nothing wrong with staying at an airport hotel if the idea is to be in position for an early, next day departure. However, Luv2Travel is not asking about prepositioning for a flight, the question is about what there is to see and do if staying at the airport. The answer is very little.

I'd take the train into town for the evening and dinner and return for the hotel and flight in the morning. The worst meal we have had in Europe -- and we have spent months over the years in Europe -- was the Paris CDG Hilton. It was nearly inedible, the staff were incredibly rude and it was expensive.

Nothing of interest so arrive late and relax if your flight is the next day. I found the Citizen M airport hotel food to be quite good with a nice ambiance to boot!
Tocard, I am just back from your neck of the woods! Beautiful country!
