I'd like to hear from folks who've visited the Rungis Market, and the nearby "A la Maree" seafood restaurant. Are you sure they'll let you in? It's not free access.
You'd need a guide of some kind. The place fires up at midnight and shuts down about dawn. It's also huge - - you can't even walk between the halls.

Dave, I don't think you can wander there freely, you have to book a tour. Be ready to wake up early, all real action takes place before five AM.

We explored a visit a couple of years ago but we didn't have time. You can't just show up. We only saw only one website to join a tour group for a visit.
