I keep watching for anyone going to France in mid June. Packing ideas? Long range weather forecast?

We are taking the Eastern France tour on June 21st. I took the same tour in September 2009. The only thing I can say is pack layers. Chamonix will require a jacket no matter what. I will pack a few long sleeve t's and a lightweight jacket again this year. The rest of the time, skirts, lightweight pants and dresses are best. You won't see many shorts, so I tend to avoid them while in France.
