Anyone know how much the road tolls are Perigueux to CDG are?

I'd guess around 60 Euro but you can find out on via Michelin -- map our your route and it tells you what the tolls are. We recently made the drive from Paris to Perigord and then from the Ardeche forest back to Paris. Note that most of the toll booths in southern France will take US chip and pin cards with no problem, but quite a few of the booths run by different companies further north don't. On one, we tried 3 different cards, there were no manned booths and no way to use cash that we could see. We punched the assistance button and the agent was able to open the gate for us once we put cash in a particular box -- no change possible. So you should always travel with Euro coins and small Euro pills in case you have to put together some odd combo -- I think we had to come up with 19.30 Euro at that booth. Some booths for small amounts will take coins and have a basket.

When we were in France last year the first couple of days we had mixed results with credit cards and toll booths so got a small bag to hold about 80 euro in small bills and 20 euro in change. That made life easy and simple.

If you would like a scenic drive, set GPS to no toll road and drive through lovely countryside and little villages. It will take longer, but it is much more interesting than the motorway. We did this two years ago and loved it. Gas will be cheaper and no tolls will probably pay for your gas.
