anyone have 2025 updates for RS Burgundy wine loops

Hi - looking for someone who has done the RS wine loops around Burgundy recently. The info in the France book is from 2023 and heavily references Covid. What is it like now in 2025?

In chatting with wine tours, they make it seems as though you need to hire someone. We are more interested in the mom & pop places, not the big names. What should we expect?

What about appointments at the wineries? Are they required?

Does anyone have any great small winery finds that are a must visiti?

Thanks in advance!
Jean

Hi Jean,

I'm going to the region for the first time in a couple months so I don't have experienced feedback for you. I have read similar comments about needing a guide as fewer wineries are offering tastings post COVID.

What I have found is: https://www.rendezwine.com/en. My understanding is they partner with wineries and you can schedule tastings through them. I plan to book a couple tastings that way or to at least use the website as a reference to find wineries that are offering tastings.

Hopefully others will have more helpful answers for you!
